Julia is one of the original 'kids of Cableski'. Since 1990 as a 19 year old when she competed at the EAME Cableski | Championships, it was clear that the Cable had seduced her and that she would go on be a passionate supporter of Cableski. In the period from 2010 -2020 she took part as Overall Skier in International Calendar and National Events as well as all the major cableski competitions, amateur and pro. There are only a few competitions where she did not end up on the Podium. Her nickname is Cableski Queen, because she is active all around the globe and her Style of Trick Skiing is unique. Julia has skied at the highest level in all disciplines for more than a decade! In the last Decade Julia won at least: 3 Individual World Champion Titles 5 Individual EA Champion Titles 9 Team Titles During her incredible career she broke the World Jump Record 11 times and set new Trick records 4 times. Julia breathes and sleeps Cableski 100% of the time. Apart from competing, she is not shy to share her considerable experience at multiple clinics every year. Her comprehensive preparation matched with her focussed mindset and training methods are invaluable to the members of the German Teams where she functions as a Coach. Julia ended her competition career in 2019 but continues to give back to the sport. In recent years, Julia has trained to be a Level 1 Judge as well as an A-licence Trainer. She is currently acting as the general Trainer for the German Waterski and Wakeboard Federation, working to bring Waterski and Cableski closer and to encourage the crossover. Julia‘s overall contribution to the sport over 30 years is outstanding and she certainly deserves this Award !
